When Susanne and Einar Took Over Vertshuset Bærums Verk, the Procurement System Came Along
When Vertshuset Bærums Verk recently got new operators, one thing was certain from the start: the procurement system would stay. The new operators, Susanne Ågren and Einar Hougen, have used Millum for several years and know how much time and control the system provides in a busy restaurant environment.
Vertshuset reopened its doors in October after a period of renovation. For Einar, it was a special moment—it was here he began his career as an apprentice chef.
From Kikutstua to Vertshuset – the Procurement System Comes Along
Before Vertshuset, the couple ran Kikutstua in Nordmarka, where they thrived. But after several years focusing on both accommodation and dining, they wanted to fully concentrate on the culinary experience—Einar’s great passion.
