Millum becomes the joint procurement platform for 250 Strawberry hotels in the Nordics
The hotel chain Strawberry is now implementing the Norwegian procurement system Millum across all its hotels in Finland. With this, the procurement for just under 250 hotels in Norway, Sweden, and Finland will be gathered in one common digital platform—an initiative aimed at improving cost control, increasing operational efficiency, and strengthening the foundation for sustainable choices.
Strawberry has used Millum in Norway since 2007 and in Sweden since 2008. With Finland now included, the hotel chain is taking a clear step toward a more standardized and data‑driven procurement model across borders.
This means that Strawberry alone will account for an estimated 14 percent of the total transaction volume expected to flow through Millum’s systems in 2026. In the long run, the hotels in Denmark will also be included.

Fewer systems, better overview
Through Strawberry’s own portal, By.Strawberry, all procurement activities are consolidated into one solution - from ordering and goods receipt to menu management, invoice flow, and reporting.

For the Finnish hotels, the implementation will provide, among other things, better oversight of goods flow, costs, and climate impact.
