Sodexo Changes Procurement Partner
Earlier this year, Sodexo, which operates staff restaurants and cafeterias and provides workplace services across the country, decided to switch procurement organizations.
The previous organization had used Millum as its procurement system for many years, and Sodexo had been very satisfied with the solution. Therefore, it was important to them that the new organization also used Millum.
The natural choice was another of Millum’s procurement organizations, which was a better fit for Sodexo’s needs. Millum’s task was to transfer the entire Sodexo operation to the new solution as smoothly as possible.
A Comprehensive Migration – Without Any Downtime
Moving a single restaurant or hotel is one thing - but moving a large chain like Sodexo, with over 250 locations, is quite another. It was crucial that Sodexo could continue ordering goods right up until the switch date, without any errors or downtime.
During the migration, all updated prices, usernames and passwords, catalog permissions, and inventory counts had to be transferred. Millum also had to ensure that recipes and shopping lists were preserved, even though the catalogs changed due to the switch between procurement organizations.
The result was a successful transition - without problems and without any disruption to Sodexo’s operations.
