Suppliers and Wholesalers are the Recipe for a Good Procurement System

Profitable for Suppliers and Wholesalers Too

As a neutral link between buyer and seller, Millum has no influence on agreements made between users of our procurement system, Millum Procurement, and their suppliers. However, even though the presence of suppliers and wholesalers in the procurement system initially results from the choices of purchasers, it does not mean that the system does not provide value to both parties. Trade goes both ways, and so do the needs.

We see that suppliers and wholesalers connected to purchasers in the foodservice industry via Millum's systems, and actively using Millum Commerce, experience increased customer loyalty and trading volume. This, of course, requires them to provide good product information and take ownership of their data.

Through Millum Commerce, the supplier side gets a tool to have full control over their product lines and showcase their products in the best possible way. By ensuring that prices, images, and labels are always correct, they gain satisfied customers and many repeat purchases.

 

Broader Reach

Suppliers and wholesalers affiliated with Millum should be able to use their presence in the system as a sales argument for new customers. Connecting new purchasers to a supplier that is already integrated with Millum is an easy task.

Millum also wants to help suppliers using Millum Commerce reach more customers. They have the opportunity to establish Millum's standalone e-commerce solutions, which they can use for customers who do not use Millum for procurement. This does not require any extra work for suppliers, as product information is reused from Commerce.
